The board have accepted the resignation of David Johnstone from the Chelsea Supporters Trust.

David was instrumental in setting up the Trust in the first place to act as a voice for all Chelsea supporters and has worked tirelessly with that aim over the last 7 years. In particular, he took the leading role in improving atmosphere inside the ground and championing supporter issues especially with regard to helping supporters who have faced bans. He was an important member of The Fans Forum for us.

His drive and enthusiasm will be sorely missed, not just by the board, but by all members of the Trust.

We wish to thank David for his significant contribution to the Trust.

The Chelsea Supporters’ Trust will continue to represent all Chelsea supporters, irrespective of their race, religion or sexual identity. We wish to reiterate that we would welcome the opportunity to work with external partners to help in that aim.
