The Chelsea Supporters’ Trust welcome the suspension of the season by the Premier League. The most important consideration must be the health of all people involved in the game and, indeed, in society.

In the forthcoming weeks, it is clear that difficult decisions will need to be made about how this year’s football competitions are concluded. We hope that football supporters groups can be fully involved in the dialogue with the football authorities as to how we move forward.

We also recognise that there will be a serious financial impact on some football clubs from the lower leagues. We would support an approach across football to prioritise helping them.

The CST has an ongoing dialogue with Chelsea FC. We have already been discussing issues surrounding the, now postponed, Bayern Munich game.  We will also raise the possible refunds of tickets from this season and ticketing issues for next season.
