The Chelsea Heritage Partnership, part of the Chelsea Supporters’ Trust, hosted our third event in the Tea Bar at Stamford Bridge prior to the recent WSL match v Arsenal.

The event was totally dedicated to the history of Chelsea women’s football and particularly to Chelsea v Arsenal matches.

On screen presentations featured highlights from many of those matches and Rick Glanvill’s visual presentation included a lot of history of Chelsea’s team.

We were really pleased to have Tony Farmer, one of the first team managers,  with us for the evening and he really enjoyed showing photos and memorabilia from his time with the club.  It was a joy to see him interacting with so many supporters during the course of the evening.

A really lifelike cardboard cut out of Emma Hayes proved very popular with many photos taken by those attending.

Club ambassador and ex player, Katie Chapman came along and was really good in engaging with supporters and she really enjoyed her time in the Tea Bar with us all.

Current and past players  team shirts were kindly loaned by the Chelsea museum and were displayed during the evening.

Chelsea Pitch Owners were present and managed to sell a number of shares with follow up interest for others.

Well known Chelsea supporter, the wonderful Basil rattled the bucket for collecting money for the Hammersmith and Fulham foodbank and helped us raise £110.

All in all it was a great event with very good attendance and to cap the evening off a great 3-1 win in the match.

Our thanks go to Chelsea FC for all their help in helping us with the event.
