As ever we have been working hard behind the scenes in the off season.
We are thrilled to announce Chelsea FC have a newly appointed Disabled Access Officer Hannah Travers.
This is a huge step for us, meaning we have a direct contact specifically for disabled supporters and Hannah is a first stand alone appointee for this role.
Cliff Auger, Becky Collis, and Diane Akers from the DSA steering committee met with Hannah to introduce themselves and discuss all things accessible.
We also had a mutually beneficial accessible tour of Stamford Bridge with Hannah that took place at the end of July. It was good to raise matters of concern and get feedback from the club.
We always welcome ideas from all especially when they impact matchday and create barriers, we are striving to break these down bit by bit.
Prior to this meeting, Cliff and Diane met once again with Liam Bird from Level Playing Field, he is always an excellent source of information.

You will have seen us posting on all our social media accounts two surveys from Level Playing Field, one for European away and their annual survey.
We look forward to sharing the results soon, these are really important and arm us with vital information that we need to put to our club to show exactly what our disabled supporters experience on match days.
We will soon be announcing details of the official launch of our DSA!
This will include all the information you need about our launch and how you can support us on the day!
If you haven’t signed up for the Chelsea DSA, we strongly encourage you to do so, we welcome all Chelsea supporters whether disabled or not.
