The Big Stamford Bridge Sleep Out 2025

Read Time:1 Minute, 57 Second

The sixth annual Sleep Out took place on Saturday 22 March, and we were pleased to raise vital funds for two local charities – Stoll Foundation and the Barons Court Project.

With donations still coming in, we have raised over 21k for both charities. With the help and co-operation of Chelsea FC, a hardy group of Chelsea supporters, bedded down for the night that included former player Gary Chivers, and club directors Jason Gannon, Todd Kline, and Phil Lynch.

They were welcomed with short speeches from CST Chair, Mark Meehan, and representatives from the two charities who detailed the work both organisations do.

Ahead of our Europa Conference League fixture against Legia Warsaw, we plan to hold an on pitch presentation to present both charities with a cheque each from money raised.

The CST would like to thank Chelsea FC and all the relevant departments at the club for their continued support of the event.

Thanks to Jason, Todd and Phil for their support and for coming along and sleeping out.

Thanks also to Laura Cordingley and the Chelsea Foundation for their continued support of the CST and for arranging for a signed shirt, signed ball, and an opportunity to for representatives from Stoll Foundation and Barons Court to watch the Legia Warsaw game from the Foundation box, as well as some lucky folk who slept out and braved the elements on Saturday night.

Thanks to Michael Cornall and his supporter relations team for their support and to Nav Dane from Levy who once again support the event by providing breakfast for everyone.

The Big Stamford Bridge Sleep Out once again shows the amazing things Chelsea supporters can do when they gather together to help make a difference.

Thanks also to former players Tore Andre Flo, John Bumstead, Paul Canoville, Gary Chivers, Joe Cole, Carlo Cudicini, Jason Cundy, Kerry Dixon, Danny Granville. Robert Huth, Robert Isaac, Glen Johnson, Tommy Langley, Colin Lee, David Lee, Scott Minto, Ken Monkou, Pat Nevin, Eddie Niedzwicki, Colin Pates, Frank Sinclair, Nigel Spackman, David Speedie, John Spencer, Mickey Thomas, who also sent videos of support.

The number of former players supporting the Big Stamford Bridge Sleep Out grows each year and we would also like to thank current first team players Tosin Adarabioyo, Levi Colwill, Filip Jorgensen and Robert Sanchez, who all sent videos of support.
