The Chelsea Supporters’ Trust (CST) is delighted to confirm that Chelsea FC (CFC) will host a Town Hall Meeting for supporters regarding Digital Ticketing.
The in-person meeting will give supporters an opportunity to speak with senior leaders at Chelsea FC regarding digital ticketing and will provide the club with an opportunity to discuss the transition to digital ticketing.
The event will be held at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday 6 May from 17:00-18:00 (arrival at 16:45 for prompt start).
The CST board has been offered a number of tickets to attend the meeting, however we believe strongly that supporters from the wider fanbase should be given the opportunity to attend and we will therefore pass the significant majority of tickets onto our members.
We anticipate that many of our members will wish to attend this meeting and we will therefore run a random draw to determine the attendees.
Supporters are also welcome to submit any concerns or questions regarding digital ticketing. These will be addressed during the Town Hall.
Dom Rosso, Chelsea Supporters’ Trust vice-chair, said:
“We approached the club over a year ago with a comprehensive proposal for effective wider fanbase engagement. One aspect of this proposal was for the club to host an open town hall meeting with supporters.
“We are pleased that the club has set out a way in which they will have more direct communication with fans. We hope that this is the first step of many in which CFC will communicate with supporters in a more open and honest manner.”
In March 2024, the CST first proposed that the club hosted a Town Hall Meeting with supporters from the wider fanbase. A Town Hall Meeting is a very common form of large-scale meeting hosted by football clubs and is a format recommended in the Fan-Led Review of Football Governance.
It is important to note that the CST did request for the meeting to be broadcast live for all supporters. The club has confirmed that while the event will not be broadcast live, it will be recorded and that sections of the recording will be released to all supporters after the meeting. A written summary will also be published. The event is being held by Chelsea FC in partnership with the Fan Advisory Board.
Applications close at 12:00 (BST) on Thursday 1 May 2025.
