On Monday, 24 November, the Football Supporters’ Association issued a collective statement on home ticket pricing.
The “Protect the Fans. Protect the Game” collective statement can be found in full via this link, and has been co-signed by the Chelsea Supporters’ Trust, the Chelsea FC Fan Advisory Board, Chelsea Supporters’ Club, and Chelsea Supporters’ Group.

We are writing to you today to explain why the Chelsea Supporters’ Trust has co-signed this document.
The document reflects the shared concerns of supporter groups and Fan Advisory Boards across the Premier League regarding the escalating cost of attending football. The issues it highlights are not abstract, and they directly affect Chelsea supporters every week.
The call for a two-season halt on home ticket price increases is rooted in a few key principles that we strongly support:
- Protecting supporters from rising costs
Matchdays have become increasingly expensive and unpredictable, especially due to late fixture changes, higher travel costs, late ticket sales by Chelsea FC, and general cost-of-living pressures. After two successive years of increases, a pause would offer stability and ensure that football remains accessible to the diverse, loyal fanbase that defines Chelsea. - Maintaining atmosphere, community, and long-term sustainability
The statement rightly points out that the passion and atmosphere supporters create are central to what makes the Premier League successful, on and off the pitch. Protecting this is not only a cultural responsibility but a strategic one. - A fairer approach during a period of growing club revenues
The FSA highlights that broadcast and commercial revenues continue to rise across the league, creating space for clubs to avoid passing costs onto supporters. This is an opportunity for Chelsea to show leadership and demonstrate that supporters share in the benefits of the game’s financial success. - The need for transparency and genuine consultation
We support the call for improved sharing of ticketing data, clearer dialogue, and more structured engagement with the Chelsea FAB and supporter groups. Transparent and collaborative decision-making is essential for trust and long-term planning.

Chelsea supporters are proud, passionate, and deeply invested in the long-term health of the club. Our decision to co-sign this statement reflects our commitment to ensuring that Stamford Bridge remains an accessible, inclusive, and vibrant home for all supporters both today and in the future.
We look forward to continuing constructive discussions with the club and working together on a fair and sustainable ticketing approach.
