Once again we were very pleased to help our colleagues from the Chelsea Supporters Group to host the supporters tournament at Cobham. This year’s event was held on Sunday July 13th on a very hot day!
A morning and afternoon competition was held for the men’s teams with a Walking Football competition held in between. Unfortunately this year we were unable to run a women’s event due to lack of entries, probably understandable with the Women’s Euros on and England playing Wales on that day. We will certainly look to have a women’s competition again next year.
Ex Chelsea players Gary Chivers and Dave Beasant were present during the day and assisted with the trophy presentations.
Due to circumstances beyond our control we were unable to hold the charity raffle this year. The organisers decided to hold other funds raised until next year when we will present them, along with funds from the 2026 event, to our two charities.
