Big Virtual Stamford Bridge Sleepout 2021

Sleep Out Giving banner

After the success of our first Sleep Out in 2019, Chelsea Supporters’ Trust with the co-operation of Chelsea Football Club are delighted  to announce that we will be holding another sleep out Saturday, March 27th 2021.

Unfortunately, with the current restrictions, we will not be able to have it at Stamford Bridge, so this year it is going to be Virtual !

The event is to raise funds for our neighbours at Stoll (formerly Sir Oswald Stoll Foundation) who do such fantastic work for homeless veterans. The funds raised are especially vital during these Covid times as charities are having so many extra issues to deal with.

As we cannot do this at the ground, we would like to invite as many Chelsea supporters to have a virtual sleep out in your own surroundings. This could be in your garden, living room floor, or anywhere it is safe to do so. You could always use The Shed (not that one). That’s all there is to it.

As it is virtual, it also means any Chelsea supporter can take part whether you are 6 or 60 years of age, and you can be anywhere in the world and still take part on the night. Families can get involved as well and you may want to camp out in the garden on the night and do your bit to raise money for Stoll Veterans.

We would love to see as many of you as possible join up to help raise money for this wonderful charity. Once you have signed up we will be in regular touch to let you know what is happening and to share what others are doing.

More about Stoll
The Chelsea Supporters’ Trust have teamed up with Stoll to support vulnerable Veterans with homes and support services.

For over 100 years, Stoll has proudly been working with Veterans who are experiencing homelessness, issues around mental including PTSD, supporting Veterans who have a physical injury from armed service, access to skills and training as they transition into civilian life, and a health and wellbeing programme to support the different needs and ages of our Veterans

Stoll has been and continues to be impacted greatly by Covid-19 with large numbers of Veterans shielding or self-isolating due to underlying health conditions. Throughout the pandemic we have continued to support Stoll Veterans by continuing to provide front-line support, moving our health and wellbeing programme online, and supporting our older and disabled Veterans with food parcels and domiciliary care.

We are hoping to raise £30,000 from this exciting event. All funds raised will go directly into supporting vulnerable Veterans and we thank the Chelsea Supporters’ Trust for continuing to support Stoll.
